On September 20, at 15։21, an emergency call was received to 112 Operative Management Center of the MIA that smoke had been visible on the roof of a building on Artashisyan Street of Yerevan city.

Four fire units, one autoladder form from the Fire and Rescue Squads, the duty group from the Management Division for Firefighting and Rescue Activities of Yerevan Rescue Department, the operative group from Crisis Management National Center and the duty group from Medical Care of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

The fire was localized at 16:09 and extinguished at 16:38. The roof of the five-storey building (approximately 80 square meters) alongside the wooden items and household goods inside was burnt. Twelve residents from the fourth and fifth floors were evacuated.

The firefighters prevented the fire from spreading to adjacent buildings.
