On July 22, at 15։37 an emergency call was received to Gegharkunik Regional Opertive Management Center that fire had broken in St. Hovhannes Chapel.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that the fire broke out in a chapel located on Gavar-Martuni roadway.

The fire was localized at 16:00 and extinguished at 16:45. The icons inside the chapel were burned and heat-damaged.
