On May 23, at 22:01 an emergency call was received to 112 Operative Management Center of the MIA that fire had broken out at Zangezur copper and molybdenum plant.

The rescuers, the operative groups and the fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that the fire broke out in an area of about 200 square meters: the fuel-oil materials were burning.

The fire was extinguished at 00:11.

Thanks to the prompt activities of firefighters, the spread of the fire was prevented: there were no casualties.
