On May 24, at 03։43 an emergency call was received to 112 Operative Management Center of the MIA that cables had been on fire on Hrant Vardanyan Street in Yerevan city.

Three fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that the fire broke out in an electrical substation.

The fire was localized at 04:50 and extinguished at 05:03. The electrical substation (about 40 square meters) alongside its furniture was burnt.
