On May 22, at 23:52 an emergency call was received to Kotayk Regional Operative Management Center that car accident had occurred on the roadway leading to Marmarik village.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that "Mercedes-Benz" car ran off the roadway, rolled over about 15 m into the adjacent gorge and caught fire.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, 3 casualties had been hospitalized.

The fire was localized on May 23, at 00:53 and extinguished at 01:22. The car was burnt.
