On September 12, at 15։21 an emergency call was received to 112 Operative Management Center of the MIA that grassland had been on fire behind one of the educational institutions on Moldovakan Street of Yerevan city: there was a risk of the fire spreading.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads, the duty group from the Management Division for Firefighting and Rescue Activities of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

As a result of the firefighting and rescue operations, the fire was extinguished at 16:53.

The firefighters and rescuers prevented the fire from spreading.
