On April 9, at 17։37 an emergency call was received to 112 Operative Management Center of the MIA that fire had broken out in the building of a non-functioning medical center in Kasakh village of Kotayk province.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that the fire broke out on the 2nd floor and roof of the non-functioning hospital on Safaryan Street.

The fire was localized at 18:44 and extinguished at 19:10. The wooden constructions of the roof (about 60 square meters) and accumulated garbage were burnt.
