On July 4, at 15։43 an emergency call was received to Syunik Regional Operative Management Center that truck had been on fire on the roadway leading to Verin Khotanan.

One fire unit from Aghvani Emergency Point and three fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad, the operative group of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that "Scania" truck with a trailer loaded with 8 passenger cars was burning at the 17th km of Kapan-Yerevan roadway.

The fire was localized at 16:44 and extinguished at 18:06. The truck, as well as four of the eight loaded cars (completely) and two were partially burnt.
