On August 2, at 22։10 an emergency call was received to Ararat Regional Operative Management Center that fire had broken out at a landfill between Getapnya-Ghukasavan settlements.

Four fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads of Yerevan and Regional Rescue Departments and the duty group from Management Division for Firefighting and Rescue Activities of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

The fire was localized on August 3 at 06:26. The construction waste in an area of about 5,000 square meters were burnt.
