On September 4, the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs held a festive event dedicated to the Rescuer's Day.

The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan, the Director of Rescue Service - Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Kamo Tsutsulyan, Chief of Police - Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Aram Hovhannisyan and General Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Ara Fidanyan were participated.

The management staff and employees of the Ministry and subordinate services were also attended.

Arpine Sargsyan congratulated the rescuers on the occasion of the professional holiday on behalf of the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Ministry and herself.

Ms. Sargsyan, highlighting the critical role of rescuers in strengthening the resilience of the Republic of Armenia, stressed the significance of their training, effective public relations and continuous education, which together ensure the improvement of the services provided to the public.

The Deputy Minister emphasized the importance of recognizing the family members who support rescuers in their around-the-clock duties, the educators who oversee their training, the staff responsible for maintaining rescue equipment, and all those who contribute to the rescuers' work behind the scenes.

According to Arpine Sargsyan, the Government consistently improved and continue to improve the educational process of rescuers, working conditions, work organization methodology, social guarantees relying allowed on the achievements for ensuring a new level of development.

Congratulating the Day of the Rescuer, Kamo Tsutsulyan expressed his gratitude to the rescuers for their courage, conscientious service and dedication in rescuing and protecting citizens.

In his speech, Aram Hovhannisyan congratulated the rescuers on behalf of the police personnel, emphasizing the effective joint work of policemen and rescuers.

The presentation of the new official website of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as rescue.mia.gov.am took place during the event. The Press Secretary of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Head of the Public Communication and Information Department Narek Sargsyan highlighted that this is the first state website in Armenia hosted in a cloud domain. He also noted that the trilingual website aligns with the digitization principles of Armenian public services in accordance with EU standards and is accessible to individuals with disabilities.

Solemn awarding ceremony was held during the event.

On the occasion of the professional holiday, the rescuers were awarded with medals, souvenirs and certificates of honor for their conscientious and highly responsible service and were encouraged with special titles.

The event ended with a festive concert.
