On May 1, at 19:31 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that explosion had occurred in a car near 2/2 Saryan Street of Yerevan city: there were casualties.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service and the Squads of the Police of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

Two casualties in the explosion, one of them received appropriate assistance on the spot and the other citizen was taken to an ambulance on a stretcher by rescuers. The latter was hospitalized at a medical center.

The rescuers closed the leak from the other gas cylinders.

5 damaged vehicles were found at the scene.
