On September 10, at 16։49 an emergency call was received to Kotayk Regional Crisis Management Center that explosion had occurred in the non-functioning smelter of "HrazJEK" OJSC: there were casualties. 

The operative group and one fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA was dispatched to the scene.

According to preliminary data, six casualties were hospitalized in a medical center, where E. H. (born in 1978) died.
