On January 27, at 10:09 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that car gas cylinder had exploded near 17 Koryun Street of Yerevan city: there was a casualty

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that an explosion occurred in “Chevrolet” car on Koryun Street under still undisclosed circumstances: the gas valve of the car was damaged, the trunk of the car, the doors were deformed and the windows were broken.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver of “Chevrolet” car had been hospitalized at a medical center.

The rescuers were on duty at the scene until the gas cylinder was discharged.
