The Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs continues to conduct training aimed at building professional capabilities and skills.

On the initiative of the Russian-Armenian Humanitarian Response Center, another training session was held on May 18-22.

The employees of Kotayk Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service participated in the training on “Peculiarities of organizing search and rescue operations in water areas”.

The five-day training included a combination of theoretical and practical components aimed at the effective organization of search and rescue operations in the water environment.

Within the framework of the training, special attention was paid to the coordination of operations, ensuring the safety of personnel, as well as modern methods used during the detection and evacuation of victims. The practical skills in providing first aid to casualties pulled out of the water were also improved.

Such trainings important to improv the professional skills of personnel, ensuring a quick, efficient and effective response of service personnel in emergency situations.
