In August, a number of headquarters and special tactical trainings were conducted aimed at increasing public awareness, creating a safety culture and a disaster-resistant environment and increasing preparedness and awareness by the Gegharkunik and Lori Regional Rescue Departments of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of RA.

The special tactical training on "Firefighting and evacuation in the kindergarten of Ddmashen village of Gegharkunik province" were organized and conducted by the Sevan Fire and Rescue Squad of the Gegharkunik Regional Rescue Department. The most important goal of the training was to teach children from pre-school age about the rules of behavior in emergency situations, while the exercise was aimed at testing and improving the abilities of the fire and rescue squad personnel in solving fire-tactical and rescue issuies.

The special tactical training took place according to the predefined scenario. A fire scenario was in the kindergarten, an investigation was carried out. The combat readinness, casualty detection, evacuation, first aid and firefighting were performed.

During the month of August, the Lori Regional Rescue Department conducted a special tactical training in Vanadzor town on "Implementation of firefighting and evacuation activities".

The purpose of the training was to quickly and efficiently carry out firefighting and evacuation activities, to determine the tactical directions of insurrection and detect the presence of the danger of poisoning, inflammable materials and electrical equipment under voltage and to ensure the population awareness process at the same time.

After the end of the training, the implemented event was analyzed, the activities were summarized and the actions of the trainees were evaluated, the observed deficiencies were highlighted and appropriate instructions were given.

An extra-planning exercise on "Firefighting, evacuation, rope work" was also carried out in "Tsitsernak camp" in Vanadzor town with the purpose of to teach young people the rules of firefighting and evacuation. During the exercise, the rescuers used rope tricks and a lecture was held, giving priority to the observance of safety rules.

The various events regularly carried out by the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service aim to increase the protection of the population by practically transmitting information, at the same time directing and teaching the behavior in emergency situations.
