Earthquake hit 17 km north-east from Bavra village

On April 9, at 22:44 local time (GMT+4 hours) the Seismological Network of the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the MIA of RA registered an earthquake of magnitude 3.3 and 10 kilometers deep with the geographic coordinates 41.17⁰ N latitude and 44․00⁰ E longitude on 17 km north-east from Bavra village in Armenia-Georgia border.

The intensity of the earthquake in the epicenter was IV-V.

The earthquake was felt in Bavra, Saragyugh, Ghazanchi, Ashotsk villages of Shirak province, as well as in Paghaghbyur and Noramut villages of Lori province with the intensity of III.
