Enhanced service and new fire and rescue base opening in Kotayk province
According to the order of the Director of RS-Deputy Minister of IA, the subdivisions of the Kotayk Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA on the pre-holiday and holiday days were switched to enhanced service.
The regular patrols were conducted in the busiest areas of service zones with a dynamic flow of tourists to ensure the safety of the population. If necessary, the duty was established to enable prompt and effective response to potential emergency situations and accidents.
To this end, a new fire and rescue base was established in Tsaghkadzor town of Kotayk region. Its presence and ability to respond swiftly to potential accidents will contribute to enhancing the safety of both the residents of Tsaghkadzor enlarged community and tourists.
On December 30, the official opening of the base took place led by the Head of the Kotayk Regional Rescue Department, r/s Lieutenant Colonel G. Sedrakyan. The base were implemented the service by the personnel of Hrazdan Fire and Rescue Squad. The head of RRS conducted a briefing for the staff, providing a series of instructions to the personnel on duty at the base. These included organizing the service with vigilance and strictness, responding promptly and effectively to potential accidents, ensuring the proper and careful use of vehicles and equipment and strictly maintaining the safety rules.
On the same day, r/s Lieutenant Colonel G. Sedrakyan also visited Fire and Rescue Squad of "Hrazdan TPP", where the building of the squad had undergone a complete renovation carried out by "Hrazdan TPP" CJSC.
The head of the Regional Rescue Department issued instructions to maintain the renovated condition of the building and to organize service with heightened vigilance during the pre-holiday and holiday periods.
The opening of the new fire and rescue base in Kotayk province and the reinforced service aim to ensure the safety of both residents and tourists, while enhancing rapid response capabilities. This marks a significant step toward improving the effectiveness of the emergency prevention and rapid response system.
