From July 1, the Water Patrol and Rescue Services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will operate in enhanced mode.

Water patrol officers and rescuers will maintain strict 24-hour supervision in Lake Sevan and along its shoreline. Their purpose is to respond promptly to any incidents and emergencies, as well as to prevent them. They will act swiftly and appropriately in response to any violations.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs urges everyone to follow safety rules related to the use of swimming equipment and motorboats and to refrain from swimming under the influence of alcohol showing responsibility toward those around you.

Violations of public order and safety regulations are subject to legal penalties, which will be applied without exception to all offenders.
