Emergency call on fire on Lepsus Street: the firefighters managed to prevent the fire from spreading
On November 20, at 06։15 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that fire had broken out in a house on 1st Lepsius Street of Yerevan city.
Three fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads and the groups on duty Management Division for Firefighting and Rescue Activities of Yerevan Rescue Department, the operative group from Crisis Management National Center, as well as the duty groups and the psychologist Medical Care Provision and Psychological Assistance Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA was dispatched to the scene.
It turned out that the fire broke out on the first floor of a two-storey house.
The fire was localized at 07:04 and extinguished at 07:15. The kitchen (about 25 square meters) with its furniture were burnt and the living room (about 20 square meters) with its furniture was damaged.
As a result of the prompt actions of the firefighters, it was possible to prevent the fire from spreading to the second floor of the house and adjacent rooms.
