On October 22, at 14:53 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that fire had broken out on the roof of a former yeast factory in Yeghvard of Kotayk province.

Four fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads of Yerevan Rescue Department and the operative group of the Crisis Management National Center of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

The fire was localized at 16։14 and extinguished at 17։11. The wooden constructions of the roof of the factory and foam plastic (about 300 square meters) were partially burnt.
