On October 27, at 07:49 an emergency call was received to Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center that fire had broken out on the roof of a recreation area in Sevan town.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA was dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that the fire broke out in the kitchen of a hotel and restaurant complex on Yerevan Highway.

The fire was localized at 08:19 and extinguished at 08:51. The suspended ceiling in the kitchen was partially (about 48 square meters) burnt.

The fire was prevented from spreading to other parts of the restaurant
