Emergency call about fire on Pushik Street

On September 29, at 22։26 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that fire had broken out in a building on Pushkin Street of Yerevan city.

"1 BIS" degree of fire complexity was announced: four more fire units and one autoladder from the Fire and Rescue Squads and the duty group of the Management Division for Firefighting and Rescue Activities of Yerevan Rescue Department, the operative group of the Crisis Management National Center, the duty group of the Medical Care Provision of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

“N 2” degree of the fire complexity was announced: five fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads of Regional Rescue Departments of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA left for the scene.

It turned out that the fire broke out in a two-storey (about 525 square meters) brick building.

The fire was localized on September 30 at 00:26 and extinguished at 02:31. The building with the roof (about 375 square meters), property and equipment were partially burnt. Two fire units were on duty at the scene.

Due to the operative actions of firefighters, the fire was prevented from spreading to other parts of the building.

The activities at the scene were led by the Director of RS - Deputy Minister of IA, r/s Major General Kamo Tsutsulyan.
