On August 7, at 16:50 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that a substation had been on fire near a building on Halabyan Street of Yerevan city.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads of Yerevan Rescue Department and medical care provision duty group and operative group from Crisis Management National Center of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that the fire broke out in a substation on the 1st floor of the building, which spread to the upper floors and the roof.

The fire was localized at 17:26 and extinguished at 18:44. The substation, the window of a closed balcony of an apartment on the 2nd floor, and the wooden constructions of the building's roof (about 1.5 square meters) were burnt, the balcony windows of several apartments were heat-damaged.
