On August 6, at 06:42 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that a fire had broken out in a building on Spandaryan Street in Vagharshapat town.

Four fire units and one autoladder from the Fire and Rescue Squads of Yerevan and Regional Rescue Departments, the group on duty from Management Division for Firefighting and Rescue Activities and operative group from the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that the fire broke out in an apartment on the 3rd floor of the building.

The fire was localized at 07:23 and extinguished at 07:39. The kitchen and living room of the apartment (about 50 square meters) were burned along with the furniture. The rescuers evacuated 7 citizens from the building.
