On June 13, at 13:25 an emergency call was received to Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center that an explosion had occurred at a gas station on Sevan-Yerevan roadway: the rescuers’ help was needed.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that an explosion occurred in “Mitsubishi Pajero” car parked at a gas station at the 1st km of Sevan-Yerevan roadway, as a result the tin roof (about 10 square meters) of the gas station was damaged.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the gas station employee (N. Kh., born in 1964) was hospitalized at a medical center.

The rescuer blocked off the scene.
