Educational and practical event held in Stepanavan town
In Stepanavan town, Lori Province, an important initiative was carried out aimed at raising children's awareness about safety. On the grounds of the inclusive summer camp "Full Life," the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Lori Regional Rescue Department organized seminars focused on fire safety education and the development of evacuation skills.
The main goal of the seminars was to familiarize the campers with fire prevention rules, evacuation procedures and steps, and to help them form correct, confident, and organized behavior in emergency situations.
The seminars were attended by 45 children, including those with various mobility or health-related conditions, who actively participated in discussions, asked rescuers questions, and received comprehensive answers on how to act in case of danger.
To further engage the children and maintain their interest, a river crossing drill was also conducted under the supervision and assistance of professional rescuers.
The drill was carried out in full compliance with all safety protocols, with special attention given to the fact that some participants had physical difficulties.
Such initiatives contribute to the development of children's self-confidence, mutual aid skills, and ability to quickly orient themselves in emergencies—regardless of their abilities—while also promoting equal opportunities in society.
