On July 31, at 00:13 local time (GMT+4 hours) the Seismological Network of the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the MIA of RA registered an earthquake of magnitude 3.3 and 10 kilometers deep with the geographic coordinates 40.17⁰ N latitude and 46․15⁰ E longitude in the Republic of Azerbaijan. 

The intensity of the earthquake in the epicenter was IV.

The earthquake was felt in Vardenis town, as well as in Sotk and Kut village of Gegharkunik province with the intensity of III.
