On November 23, at 12:10 local time (GMT+4 hours) the Seismological Network of the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the MIA of RA registered an earthquake of magnitude 4.3 and 10 kilometers deep with the geographic coordinates 39․79⁰N latitude and 46.63⁰E longitude in Azerbajan. The epicenter was 42 km northeast from Goris town of Syunik province of the Republic of Armenia.

The intensity of the earthquake in the epicenter was V-VI.

The earthquake was felt in Goris, Sisian, Meghri, Kapan, Kajaran and Agarak towns of Syunik province with the intensity of III-IV.
