On March 7, at 10:31 local time (GMT+4 hours) the Seismological Network of the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the MIA of RA registered an earthquake of magnitude 3.2 and 10 kilometers deep with the geographic coordinates 40.91⁰ N latitude and 44.26⁰ E longitude on 9 km km north from Spitak town of Armenia.

The intensity of the earthquake in the epicenter was IV.

The earthquake was felt in Spitak, Stepanavan and Vanadzor towns of Lori province with the intensity of II-III.
