Earthquake hit 8 km south-east from Martuni town

On March 24, at 14:10 local time (GMT+4 hours) the Seismological Network of the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the MIA of RA registered an earthquake of magnitude 2.7 and 10 kilometers deep with the geographic coordinates 40.08⁰N latitude and 45․35⁰E longitude on 8 km south-east from Martuni town of the Republic of Armenia.

The intensity of the earthquake in the epicenter was III-IV.

The earthquake was felt in Zolakar and Madina villages of Gegharkunik province with the intensity of II-III.
