Earthquake hit 8 km north-west from Artashat town

On October 11, at 20:44 local time (at 16։44 GMT) the Seismological Network of the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the MIA of RA registered an earthquake of magnitude 2.3 and 10 kilometers deep with the geographic coordinates 40․01⁰N latitude and 44.48⁰E longitude on 8 km north-west from Artashat town of the Republic of Armenia.

The intensity of the earthquake in the epicenter was III.

The earthquake was felt in Artashat town, Dvil and Nakek villages with the intensity of II-III.
