On March 21, at 05:03 local time (GMT+4 hours) the Seismological Network of the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the MIA of RA registered an earthquake of magnitude 3.7 and 10 kilometers deep with the geographic coordinates 40.90⁰ N latitude and 44.27⁰E longitude on 10 km north from Spitak town of the Republic of Armenia.

The intensity of the earthquake in the epicenter was V.

The earthquake was felt in Lori province with the intensity of IV, as well as in Shirak province - III-IV and in Aragatsotn province – II-III.
