Earthquake hit 6 km north-west from Martuni town

On August 10, at 15:47 local time (at 22:02 GMT) the Seismological Network of the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the MIA of RA registered an earthquake of magnitude 2.1 and 10 kilometers deep with the geographic coordinates 40.18⁰ N latitude and 45․25⁰ E longitude on 6 km north-west from Martuni town in Armenia.

The intensity of the earthquake in the epicenter was II-III.

The earthquake was felt in Tsakkar village of Gegharkunik province with the intensity of II.
