Earthquake hit 6 km north-west from Martuni town

On July 31, at 22:26 local time (at 18:26 GMT) the Seismological Network of the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the MIA of RA registered an earthquake of magnitude 2.5 and 10 kilometers deep with the geographic coordinates 40․18⁰ N latitude and 45.25⁰ E longitude on 6 km north-west from Martuni town of Armenia.

The intensity of the earthquake in the epicenter was III.

The earthquake was felt it in Martuni town, as well as Dzoragyugh, Lichk and Vardadzor villages of Gegharkunik province with the intensity of II-III.
