On November 23, at 17:35 local time (GMT+4 hours) the Seismological Network of the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the MIA of RA registered an earthquake of magnitude 1.2 and 10 kilometers deep with the geographic coordinates 40.14⁰N latitude and 44․77⁰E longitude on 4 km north-east from Garni village in Armenia.

The intensity of the earthquake in the epicenter was I-II

The earthquake was felt in Garni, Goght, and Geghard villages of Kotayk province  province with the intensity of I-II.
