Earthquake hit 23 km north-west from Jermuk town
On December 7, at 22:41 local time (GMT+4 hours) the Seismological Network of the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the MIA of RA registered an earthquake of magnitude 2.4 and 10 kilometers deep with the geographic coordinates 40․00⁰N latitude and 45.55⁰E longitude on 23 km north-west from Jermuk town of RA on Armenia-Azerbaijan border zone.
The intensity of the earthquake in the epicenter was III.
The earthquake was felt in Jermuk, Yeghegnadzor towns of Vayots Dzo province, as well as etsavan, in Karaglukh, Yeghegis and Hermon villages of Lori province with the intensity of II-III.
