Earthquake hit 22 km north-west from Jermuk town
On January 6, at 17:28 local time (GMT+4 hours) the Seismological Network of the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the MIA of RA registered an earthquake of magnitude 3.1 and 10 kilometers deep with the geographic coordinates 39․96⁰ N latitude and 45.49⁰ E longitude on 22 km north-west from Jermuk town of the Republic of Armenia.
The intensity of the earthquake in the epicenter was IV.
The earthquake was felt in Vayots Dzor province with the intensity of II-IV, as well as in Vardenis town of Gegharkunik province and Sisan town in Syunik province with the intensity of II-III.
