Earthquake hit 21 km north-west from Jermuk town
On October 12, at 18:17 local time (at 14։17 GMT) the Seismological Network of the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the MIA of RA registered an earthquake of magnitude 2.1 and 10 kilometers deep with the geographic coordinates 39․89⁰N latitude and 45.44⁰E longitude on 21 km north-west from Jermuk town of the Republic of Armenia.
The intensity of the earthquake in the epicenter was III.
The earthquake was felt in Jermuk, Yeghegnadzor towns and Artabuynk, Hermon, Aretes villages of Vayots Dzor province with the intensity of II-III.
