Earthquake hit 16 km north-east from Bavra village in Armenia-Georgia border zone

On August 2, at 10:44 local time (at 06։44 GMT) the Seismological Network of the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the MIA of RA registered an earthquake of magnitude 3.0 and 10 kilometers deep with the geographic coordinates  41․16⁰ N latitude and 43.98⁰ E longitude on 16 km north-east from Bavra village in Armenia-Georgia border zone.

The intensity of the earthquake in the epicenter was IV.

The earthquake was felt it in Bavra, Saragyugh, Ghazanchi, Ashotsk and Musayelyan villages of Shirak province with the intensity of II-III.
