Earthquake hit 14 km north from Ijevan town

On July 2, at 19:05 local time (GMT+4 hours) the Seismological Network of the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the MIA of RA registered an earthquake of magnitude 2.4 and 10 kilometers deep with the geographic coordinates 41.00⁰N latitude and 45․16⁰E longitude on 14 km north from Ijevan town of the Republic of Armenia.

The intensity of the earthquake in the epicenter was III.

The earthquake was felt in Ijevan town, Achajur, Khashtarak, Sevkar villages of Tavush province with the intensity of II-III.
