On March 12, at 17:10 local time (GMT+4 hours) the Seismological Network of the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the MIA of RA registered an earthquake of magnitude 2.7 and 10 kilometers deep with the geographic coordinates 40.13⁰ N latitude and 40.13⁰E longitude on 13 km south-west from Yerevan city of Armenia.

The intensity of the earthquake in the epicenter was III-IV.

The earthquake was felt in Yerevan city and Kotayk province with the intensity of II-III.
