Earthquake hit 13 km south-east from Gavar town
On May 4, at 09:40 local time (GMT+4 hours) the Seismological Network of the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the MIA of RA registered an earthquake of magnitude 1.8 and 10 kilometers deep with the geographic coordinates 40.24⁰N latitude and 45․17⁰E longitude on 13 km south-east from Gavar town of the Republic of Armenia.
The intensity of the earthquake in the epicenter was II.
The earthquake was felt in Yeranos and Sarukhan villages of Gegharkunik province with the intensity of II.
