On April 1, at 13:56 local time (GMT+4 hours) the Seismological Network of the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the MIA of RA registered an earthquake of magnitude 3.5 and 10 kilometers deep with the geographic coordinates 41.10⁰N latitude and 43․96⁰E longitude on 13 km south-east from Bavra village of RA.

The intensity of the earthquake in the epicenter was IV-V.

The earthquake was felt in Gyumri town in Shirak province with the intensity of III, as well as in Bavra, Saragyugh, Tavshut, Ghazanchi, Musayelyan and Amasia with the intensity of II-III.
