On June 2, at 00:12 local time (GMT+4 hours) the Seismological Network of the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the MIA of RA registered an earthquake of magnitude 3.0 and 10 kilometers deep with the geographic coordinates 40.79⁰N latitude and 44․39⁰E longitude on 10 km south-east from Spitak town of Lori province of RA.

The intensity of the earthquake in the epicenter was IV.

The earthquake was felt in Spitak and Vanadzor towns, as well as in Arevashogh and Lernapat villages in Lori province with the intensity of III.
