Earthquake hit 11 km south-east from Spitak town
On June 6, at 21:10 local time (GMT+4 hours) the Seismological Network of the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the MIA of RA registered an earthquake of magnitude 2.5 and 10 kilometers deep with the geographic coordinates 40.77⁰N latitude and 44․37⁰E longitude on 11 km south-east from Spitak town of Armenia.
The intensity of the earthquake in the epicenter was III.
The earthquake was felt Spitak and Vanadzor towns, in Halavar, Shahumyan, Nor Khachakap, Arjahovit, Lernantsk and Lernapat villages of Lori province with the intensity of II-III.
