On June 20, at 06:23 an emergency call was received to Vayors Dzor Regional Operative Management Center that rockfall had occurred on the 2nd km of Yerevan-Meghri roadway leading to Jermuk town: the rescuers' help was needed.

The operative group from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that a rockfall (about 2 cubic meters) occurred: the roadway was two-way closed.

The rescuers demarcated the area and removed the stones from the roadway: the traffic flow was restorted.
