Directions for improving the capacities of Rescue Service personnel were discussed - Director of the Rescue Service paid a working visit to Lori Province

On April 17, Aram Ghazaryan - Director of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs - paid a working visit to the Fire and Rescue Squads of Spitak, Stepanavan, and Tashir in Lori Province, while Deputy Director of the Service Arsen Mkrtchyan visited Alaverdi Fire and Rescue Squad.

The Director of the Rescue Service familiarized himself with the specific features of the squads’ service areas, the organization of service, the building conditions of the units, and their tactical and technical capabilities.

In the Director's assessment, the effectiveness of firefighters and rescuers largely depends on the continuous improvement of their professional knowledge and practical skills.

In that context, he emphasized the importance of regular scenario-based training exercises, noting that they provide an opportunity to raise the level of personnel preparedness and contribute to reducing response times.

Existing issues and ways to resolve them were discussed, as well as directions for improving the capacities of Rescue Service personnel. Measures aimed at increasing the overall effectiveness of the service were also addressed.

Aram Ghazaryan issued a number of instructions regarding the resolution of existing problems and the continuous improvement of service quality.
