On October 20-21 the group of rescuers from the fire and rescue squads of Yerevan city, Gegharkunik, Lori, Shirak, Vayots Dzor, Tavush and Syunik regional rescue departments of the  Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs participated in the training on "Application of small mechanized technical means and organization of their maintenance", which was conducted by the Training Center of the Rescue Service and Crisis Management Educational Unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Educational Complex.

The purpose of the training was to increase the professional readiness of the participants and develop the skills of effective and safe operation of technical means.

Theoretical and practical trainings were conducted at the Russian-Armenian Humanitarian Response Center. The rescuers got acquainted with the technical means of small mechanization used in various fields, in particular, their structure, methods of use, studied the methods of organizing the care and periodic maintenance of this equipment, the means of preventing and eliminating technical malfunctions and the rules of work safety.

Such training sessions were an important prerequisite for increasing the professional capabilities of rescuers, for them to act more effectively and confidently in emergency situations.
