Demonstration special tactical exercise in Charentsavan
As part of the ongoing efforts by the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of RA to strengthen knowledge and ensure public safety, demonstration-based exercises were regularly organized in various communities across the country. These initiatives were an important prerequisite for developing rapid response capabilities during emergency situations and for reinforcing cooperation among involved structures.
One such demonstration tactical exercise on "Organization and implementation of firefighting and evacuation operations in case of a fire in a school" was conducted at “Charentsavan Basic School No. 2” SNPO in Kotayk province. The event was organized and carried out by Kotayk Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA.
The goal of the exercise was to establish a clear and effective rapid response system aimed at the safe evacuation of school staff and students during a fire, the efficient organization of firefighting and rescue operations and the improvement of interdepartmental cooperation capabilities.
The exercise was led by r/s Lieutenant Colonel Gevorg Sedrakyan, Head of the Kotayk Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA. Representatives from Kotayk Governor's Office and Charentsavan Municipality were present to observe the event.
The participants in the exercise included Charentsavan Fire and Rescue Squad, the Patrol Service of MIA of RA, the “1-03” emergency medical service of Charentsavan Medical Center, the staff of Charentsavan Basic School No. 2 (administration, teachers, pupils), as well as the staff of “Amper” Educational Foundation, who provided aerial reconnaissance on-site and tested innovative rescue methods.
Such events are aimed at practically strengthening the capacity to respond to emergencies and ensuring the safety of schoolchildren.
