Coordinated operations with a commitment to strengthening public safety: The Rescue Service conducted extensive events throughout the Republic

During 2025, the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs implemented extensive events throughout the Republic with the aim of not only to develop the operational-tactical capabilities of rescuers and enhance their professional qualities, but also to improve the awareness and practical skills of citizens in emergency situations.
This year, 1,025 special tactical, demonstration special tactical, headquarters, command headquarters, top-table exercises were conducted by the units of the Rescue Service in the capital and provinces.
Each training exercise served as an important tool for developing professional capabilities, improving coordination of actions and enhancing the interaction of forces.
At the same time, 2,779 lectures, seminars and practical training sessions were held, during which rescuers acted as expert speakers in the field.
The exercises and trainings covered topics related to various emergency situations: strong earthquakes, wildfires, landslides, epidemics, floods, as well as the necessary protective actions taken after them. Also included were the organization of population protection measures in case of a military threat, a nuclear and/or radiation accident at the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant, the implementation of warning, evacuation and shelter measures in case of a sudden attack or threat of an attack by the enemy, the rules of conduct in case of an “Air-raid” warning siren, firefighting at heights, the peculiarities of rescue operations and a number of other topics related to the field.
Paying attention to the importance of public awareness and population preparedness, awareness-raising events were also held in a number of settlements, recreation areas and crowded places, during which thematic booklets, flyers and leaflets were distributed.
The multifaceted measures have strengthened the service's efficiency and coordination of units, ensured a rapid and targeted response during emergency situations and improved the interaction of forces.
Such measures not only increase the overall level of security in society, but also form an informed, responsible and prepared citizen who can appropriately respond to any emergency or challenge.
The Rescue Service is ready to continuously initiate and organize exercises, courses and practical trainings that promote the protection and safety of the population, as well as any organization, department, or educational institution can apply to participate in them.
